‘Stree Chitra Sparsh’ – An Artistic Voice for Women’s Health

'Stree Chitra Sparsh' Art Exhibition & International Awareness Campaign Renowned artist Sachin Kharat from Solapur and Gynecologist/Obstetrician Dr. Sandesh Kade have jointly organized a unique art exhibition titled 'Stree Chitra Sparsh'. The initiative uses art to raise public awareness about Endometriosis, a critical health condition affecting women. 1. Solapur Exhibition (April 26 – April 30, 2023) Venue: Nirmalkumar Phadtare Sabhagruha, Solapur. Timings: Open to the public daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Inauguration: Scheduled for April 26 at 7:00 PM by Dr. Hamid Dabholkar, psychiatrist and activist from the Andhashradha Nirmoolan Samiti. Dignitaries Present: Attended by notable guests including Dr. Suhasini Shah (Director, Precision Group), Manisha Awhale (Assistant Collector), Vaishali Kadukar (Principal, Police Training Centre), Deepali Kale (Deputy Commissioner of Police), and Dr. Shantanu Abhyankar. Exhibits: Features a collection of 25 dedicated paintings focusing on Endometriosis. 2. Objective & Concept of the Artwork Theme: Endometriosis is a severe and painful condition linked to menstrual health. The artworks depict the physical severe pain, emotional and mental stress, family impact, and the vital need for open communication. Concept: Artist Sachin Kharat created these 25 paintings based on concepts and insights conceptualized by Dr. Sandesh Kade. Social Message: The campaign encourages women to break silence around menstrual health issues and urges family members to be supportive and aware. 3. International Exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE) Date & Time: May 22, 2023, at 04:00 PM. Venue: Advanced Gynecology Institute (AGI), Burjeel Medical City, Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Permanent Feature: As part of the grand launch of AGI, an 'Endometrial Art Exhibition' will feature these 25 paintings by Sachin Kharat permanently displayed on the hospital premises. Global Collaboration: Organized in partnership with Burjeel Holdings and IFEM ENDO Bordeaux, France, bringing together global specialists including Professor Horace Roman, Dr. Benjamin Merlot, and Dr. Sandesh Kade.
